Invent your own hashing algorithm. It’s easy, fool-proof, secure, and reusable without compromising security.
Here’s a few examples: ebay.com password is moc.y4b3-saltyboi69 lemmy.world password is dlr0w.ymm3l-saltyboi69
(These aren’t real btw)
Not sure what I just read but…upvote

I actually chose my words very carefully because I wasn’t sure either. Unpaid? Or the women volunteered without even being asked? I’d normally think the latter, but it seems pretty bizarre!

Not research, but artistic! And the article said the volunteers were unsolicited, so they were (presumably) happy to contribute to the cause!

Gangnam Style, obviously

lol it’s not Reddit’s content to paywall in the first place.

Around 2004, I bought a pin from a random street vendor that said “We are all Palestinian” because I was a dumbass teenager and it seemed sage with high potential to be edgy. Later, out of fear someone would ask me what the pin meant, I started reading about the situation. Long story short, that dumb pin has caused me much grief as I’ve watched this horrific drama unfold the past 20 years or so. I very much relate to your comments.
I was looking up some history timeline stuff just now and noticed 2010 was the year Hellen Thomas was fired for saying Israel should get the hell out Palestine. Coincidence or no?

In our guest house, whenever the laundry machine ran, half the lights would go out. It was due to the drain hose having a small leak. The water seeped down and shorted an outlet in the crawl space. So I had to:
Ah, good times. But now it’s all fixed. For now.

Even if “relocation” means shuffling off this mortal coil
Just cut out the middleman and order the Mountain Dew Code Red for me already

Stuff I run:
You might be interested in a video game called The Last Sovereign. I discovered it during the recent fiasco around payment processors trying to block lewd stuff, but the nsfw visuals can be turned off if you’re not into that. It’s a very serviceable RPG with turn based combat that is well balanced and engaging. But I’m recommending it because you said philosophy and it’s basically a series of Platonic dialogues between characters discussing life, the nature of man, morality, ethics, sexuality, power, and much more. I’m pleasantly surprised at how often I find myself deeply invested in the conversations. I think the writer(s) must’ve needed an outlet for their philosophical musings and chose this quirky “lewd” RPG as the medium.
One thing people foolishly ignore in the whole “cloned meat” debate is how easy and ethical it’d be to eat whatever the heck you wanted. Elephant soup? Bald eagle kebab? Mmm fried camel nuggets…
