I use Organic Maps very often.
Apparently a bunch of lead devs for Organic Maps split off (and forked) to make CoMaps. I don’t know much beyond that, but CoMaps is getting regular updates

It can run EndeavorOS, which is deGoogle’d. Not quite as private and secure, but it’s better than stock Android.
There’s also a user on here who’s been working to make Linux drivers for the FP6 as well, and they’re making good progress

Just like the start of Cool Hand Luke

Good riddance, coward

Tbh, there’s been people who have judged me just for being frustrated or mad about something, even if I didn’t act on it. Turns out a lot of people just suck.

Maybe it’s the people extrapolating too much about other despite having limited information about them?

I’ve noticed the same thing over the years. There’s some people that won’t accept anyone having any sort of negative emotion.
You’re mad, but all you’re doing is grumbling, sulking, and keeping to yourself? Some people act like that’s just as bad as getting into fights.
Negative emotions are human. We’re not unfeeling robots, and life will have highs and lows.
Sometimes people are stressed because of a particular project at work, or because they’re having car/house troubles. A therapist isn’t really the answer to that. They’re better suited for longer-term problems, such as issues with getting along with parents, mental trauma, or having a diagnosed condition.
But unfortunately, when it comes to mental health of others most people don’t really care. They say whatever is expedient for that makes them vaguely feel like they’re helping. Because so often, that help is more about them, not you.

I filled out an IT helpdesk request last week because I couldn’t push any updates to GitHub. I was able to access the site, so I though my access token was retired since that happens every once in awhile.
Nope. It was GitHub. For some reason it couldn’t accept my push despite the website still being up. And I didn’t find out until the tech called the the next day and it worked when I tried to recreate it in front of them

“You can have any context menu option you want, so long as it’s Copilot”- Satya Nadella
Also, Henry Ford (whose quote this is a parody of) was a literal Nazi, and Satya Nadella isn’t much better

I’d like a federated ecosystem for game mods that uses torrents for file downloads to reduce server load. Something to act as a safe haven in case NexusMods enshittifies. It’d also allow more diverse sets of rules through servers, so you could have versions of Nexus, LoversLab, etc. all sharing a framework instead of everything running smoothly for one and not the others.
Plus, NexusMods have really dropped the ball with regards to permissions. Their default permissions are set up so that if you’re a mod author, other authors need to ask you for permission to use your mod as a dependency. Not just crediting you and linking to your mod, but asking permission beforehand. I don’t see how anyone can look an that and not see it as insanely hypocritical

I don’t buy that. They were making money hand over fist with Deep Rock Galactic well before then

To Valve’s games only. Meanwhile EGS was signing exclusivity deals with everyone they could

And they do everything they can to avoid any upgrades to their store. It took them 2 fucking years to add a cart to make multiple purchases at the same time. Before, if you wanted to buy a game and all its DLC, you had to purchase each of them separately.

No. Go give money to Itch.io and GOG instead. They’re not wannabe monopolists like Timmy Tencent
It doesn’t sound possible on the FP6 or FP6+. But maybe in the future? If people keep asking them (politely!) they might consider adding support for the 7 or 8
