She covered herself in tattoos. I’m not a tattoo artist but I feel like that would be difficult especially on the chest
Her husband, Gus Wagner, was also a tattoo artist and taught her. Together, they traveled around the US in circuses and sideshows. She started out as an aerialist in the same circus and traded a date with him for a tattoo lesson.
