Just realised that the pdf version of “21years after” is 21 pages:)
Subtle 😆
I don’t have the capacity to join, but still wanted to say that I think this is a cool idea and that I wish you all the best regarding it!
Also I find the interaction/integration with Hexbear regarding this kinda wholesome ~w~
Ping meeeee!!!
Will do
I think now that Im reading the introductions again (at least the “20years after”) after having read all of section A, I understand many more references and things are kind of clearer😅
Those intros had kinda slowed me down back when I had started reading it
Sure, why not.

Another thing yall might be interested in reading https://www.foodnotbombs.net/anarchist_cookbook.html
It’s not the one you’re thinking of. It’s an actual vegan cookbook and guide to mutual aid and feeding the masses.
Glad you’re with us :) And thanks! I’ll read on the cookbook after wrapping this up
Yo that sounds interesting, will add it to my to-read list (might read it within this decade😆)
I suggest reading it sooner than later. It was written by my personal friend Keith McHenry the founder of Food Not Bombs.
This guy:
I knew I was forgetting something, both nylo and xiwi. Thanks
Did you forget @nylo@lemmy.dbzer0.com https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/comment/20742274
Tomorrow’s Sunday and a perfect day for reading! (Too hot to do anything else anyway)
Scrap that, I’ve been reading it during work so i can get paid for it lmao.
Not much to say about the intro, nice introduction, likewise for the first part. I like them hammering on the fact that these social theorists didn’t really invent the ideas, they put the discussions that were held by people in to writing, ironically if we focus too much on the writers and theorists (without discredeting them!), we can fall in the same “great man theory” style thinking.
Yeah and lets you know that theres a community behind keep it alive, not a handful of “expert authorities”
Flying to Sweden tomorrow, the epub is so ready on my (de-amazoned) Kindle! Thanks, @irelephant@lemmy.dbzer0.com
If there’s any problems with it, let me know!
I had to edit it a bit manually because the script i used for it was pretty crap.
I’m in. I attempted this on my own a year or two ago and did not make it all the way through. It will be nice to have folks to discuss with.
Ooh, lemme in!
Will ping you next week’s post, have fun
