Being drafted is different than doing chores or working in care roles. Everyone capable should be responsible for the defense of those who are not in times of war regardless of sex.
There are also plenty of care roles, and chores, in military service.
Yes more Men should take on the life outside of work, but that has nothing to do with 50% of a countries population being forced to give up and risk their lives while the other isn’t even though they are capable of, and excel in, combat and support roles.

I am tired of the “Russia’s nukes don’t work” narrative as well. Even if 99% were indeed duds, they own (and actively maintain) some of the most powerful weapons on the planet. The only thing we have going for us is MAD, and that isn’t a great option especially for the hundreds of countries without nukes.

Thank you very much for the help and suggestion, I really appreciate it. :)
I am also looking for a linux smart phone at the moment. I have not found many that don’t seem to be sold out, or aren’t quite there yet.
If I find anything promising I will edit.
Just for that, the next one I find is being sent to you for a fix! lol
Working on my game that I plan to release on Steam by the middle of October if all goes well, which has been my last 6 months or so. Still lots to do, but the code is tight without a single bug at this point so happy times there. haha

This made my whole day.
Track two: “Terrible Lie”, doesn’t even need any changes. haha

Israel has never removed itself from Palestine. Israel has been occupying legally recognized Palestinian territory for decades, and have used every excuse to continue to take more.

You are only using one Area for the entire map?

Create a new scene for the country. Arrange the nodes so the area2d is the main node, and the label is a child of that node. Make sure that the label inherits traits from its parent node.
When you resize or move the Area2d it should now resize the label along with it.
I think the easiest solution to this is the ruler to measure your Area2D and then find the total area using a math formula based on the shape. Then you can use the total area in pixels that you calculated to create the surrender variable.

China, Russia, and USA were who I was thinking of.

The UN security council is a joke with 3 dictatorships as permanent members.

Just to add on to the idea if you haven’t come up with anything:
Espionage can, and probably should, be a major part of the game play given that it takes place in the cold war. I think it would be a good idea to make Espionage its own tab, and have the other tabs directly impact what options of espionage are available (Assassination, Propaganda, False Flag Ops, Information Gathering, etc)
Given that each of the super powers had their own tools of the trade you could do a little history research into things like the Kiss of Death or Bulgarian Umbrella for Russia, or the rectal tool kit from the US. You can use the different Ideologies, military, politics, and support to determine what you accomplish and build, and what your spies will be capable of.
I hope this helps, and good luck!

I guarantee that 32% couldn’t point Israel or Gaza out on a map.

It’s not an airport. You don’t need to announce your departure.
I know.
I did it because I wanted to share my point of view, like you have done here. Both of which are admittedly pointless and time wasting endeavors.
Also, I’ve always been a bit skeptical when someone decides to leave a community because they don’t like a post and/or poster. As if they represent the totality of the sub.
It is not about the post or poster, it is about the lack of action from mods in regards to the post or poster. Which is a constant problem in this community that I have noticed, and a good reason to leave it.
I find it funny that you care so much, so thank you for that.

I have had nothing but issues attempting to use AI to help with code. The amount of times it has given me something clearly incorrect, and I am not very experienced to be able to identify “wrong code” so easily, is way to high.
You hope to see the US enter full scale war after instigating another country into defending itself?
That is what will happen if anyone takes a shot at those planes, hence why they weren’t shot down.
