I’m glad that the SLRPNK community loosely resonates with the ideology that I have argued in support of, for many years. Thanks for providing this space and instance. Libertarian socialist perspectives are underrepresented in online discourse and are often silenced or smeared.

In my experience, whenever I have been able to beat the censorship and shadowbanning and successfully cut through the propaganda, my personal perspectives have strongly resonated with many people.

In my opinion, it is the only path forward for the human species to move past barbarism, to move towards establishing human rights, to move past exploitation. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I’m naïve. I’m open-minded, though. Regardless of ideology, let’s make the world a kinder and more free place to live in!

Is this a bit? I always understood “libertatianism” and “socialism” as contradicting terms, because any social organization evolves into a planned state. How can there be socialism without some form of plan or strategy? Also, isn’t libertarianism deeply dependant on corporate power abd privatizatuon forbpublic services?

it’s not a bit, libertarian socialism has been a major force in socialist spaces ever since the First International.

the “libertarians” you’re thinking of are posers that appropriate our ideas to advocate for capitalism without regulations.

anarchists want liberty from all hierarchies and all systems of oppression while right “libertarians” want liberty to oppress anyone who isn’t from the ruling class or isn’t white.

This is probably a dumb question, but what’s the three arrows in a circle icon in the bottom right?

I know it as “upside down pitchfork media logo” but I’m guessing it’s actually more meaningful than that?
