I am from Turkey and I was wondering if I should or shouldn’t join a communist party here, I’m 99% sure it’s fully controlled and I would be logged if I ever actually joined but I don’t know
There are two options for me:
- TIP (Turkey Worker’s Party) is socially forward (pro-lgbtqi) but at the same time pro-west with Trotskyite tendencies, it also has 4 seats and 1.8% representation in parliament
- TKP (Turkey Communist Party) is a party in not fully sure about, but they call themselves socialist patriots (basically nationalists) and base themselves off of kemalism (red flags everywhere) and they’re less prevalent and not pro-lgbt, though they support anti-imperialism (in the way Lenin has explained the term)
They lack a page in ProleWiki and I need to do more homework on it, but I thought it would be nice to have a second opinion on it because I can be very very dumb
I’m open to hearing more and especially from my Turkish comrades that can help me out further
To be honest, a lot of things lack a page on ProleWiki. Maybe you could sign up and make pages for them as part of the deliberation process.
Even liberals? Damn, how bad is the ProleWiki situation to let me edit pages?
If someone made a kind of parody version it would probably get more activity. Like have the page for liberals be some kind of eldritch nightmare zone where the whole site css takes on a maudlin vibe. But I’m corny and I don’t know what’s hip on the internet that might be more 2015. It just seems like a lot of people have mastered the art of making cringe posts about Dennis Prager and not the CPMK, let alone value theory or the history of modes of production. The KKE probably only has a page because of Russia arguments.
