God I watched so much beast wars as a kid in middle school getting up in the morning, it came on at like 6 am I think so I was up to watch it. Was my routine before school.

I happen to be an expert on this topic. The best resource out there has to be Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game, a military simulation program commissioned by the US armed forces to be used in specops training. Several veteran MACV-SOG operators with thousands of hours of combat experience in Vietnam participated in its development as advisors, including Colonel Peter Jackson. As a result, the gorillas are highly detailed and realisitic, and it teaches genuine unconventional warfare tactics that had been successful on real battlefields.
