Every year, City agencies make over 100 changes or additions to the City rules that are an important part of how government interacts with the public. New Yorkers can review proposed rules and voice their opinions about those rules before they are adopted into law.

Today is a big day for the future of e-bikes in New York City. A hearing starts at 10 a.m. You can file a written comment until 5 p.m. You can also send an email to rules@dot.nyc.gov until 5 p.m

    Well instead cars have a complex process of permitting, licensing, and yearly insurance requirements to make drivers are trained, and financially covered in the event of an accident.

      You’ve ne:er been hit by a car, have you? The drivers insurance doesnt cover shit. You’re lucky if it covers your hospital stay. The licensing is a joke; it’s seen as a necessity so the standards have to be near zero.

      Ah, that must explain why car drivers kill thousands each year, while cyclists kill no one. Clearly these measures are working!
