Matrix is A simulation, but simulation theory doesn’t necessitate that we all have real bodies in a “real world”. In fact, I think the matrix version of the simulation is less likely, as it would be more complex to achieve, at least in our reality. In simulation theory, if the simulation stops and is deleted, there may well be literally nothing left of us. That’s not a trans allegory, that’s an existential crisis
