I get that you probably save a bit of fuel and that will add up over the huge amount of driving you do, but it seems incredibly dangerous. What don’t I understand here?
EDIT: specifically, lorries following other lorries. It rarely affects me as a car driver, it’s just something I’ve noticed
Thanks :)
They just seem to put their foot down and zone out.
We had a lorry driver here who got caught over the limit at a Raststatte (a place where you can take a break that doesn’t have a petrol station). It meant he wasn’t allowed to continue his journey. Next morning: failed again. They called his boss and told him to come and fetch the lorry. Week later: still drunk, boss still hasn’t showed up. Apparently many lorry drivers drive over the limit.
I’m sure the guy just kept drinking but at the same time this is worded in such a way that it makes it seems like it was from just one epic session.
