Slightly over 100 for me. Along with people I dislike, I also like to block people on a whim even those i never interact with, so my block list is all over the place.

      You can export settings and blocks from your old account to a new one. The users here tend to be pretty privacy-minded, so not wanting to put all your eggs in one basket is probably a common mindset. That’s why I ditch my old accounts once they hit around 1000 comments and start fresh on a different instance to lose the tail. It’s too easy to become “famous” on a platform this small. I’m sure many people like that - I don’t.

        Exactly this. Though I’ll probably keep the instance (like it enough to donate after all) and just cut the identity loose. Gives me a chance to evolve my voice as life changes. Allows me to be honest about my experiences without building any kind of identifiable profile. Or having to worry about airport security searching my phone and finding something I said two years ago about Trump.
