    Agree with lots of what’s written here. The redfash (tankie) dominance in “far” Left spaces online really makes it hard as an anarchist.

    as a baby anarchist I really liked the idea that the black flag came in every colour … except yellow.

    the more I learn about hyphenated anarchists the more I realize the black flag only comes in one colour.

      Tbh I’m still gonna call myself an Ancom because the abolition of money and property and the creation of gift economies is very important to me.

      But I feel like I’m one of the few that use that label that are as critical of the state as capitalism. Definitely are a bunch of us. But seems a growing number are using that label to basically mean some quasi statist stuff.

    Ziq, are you the admin at raddle again? I am only aware of what you wrote here:

    Edit: At the administrators page [https://raddle.me/wiki/administrators], there is only your name. For some reason, I don’t see a list of admins. Am I on the wrong page, perhaps?

      Very off topic but that’s an 8 year old post. I completely left for a year, tried to transfer the site to other admins (they didn’t want it) and then they voted for me to come back because the tankies who I apologised to were, among other things, DDOSing the site, doxxing people and spreading bigotry. The admins currently are mofongo, emma (sys admin) and me. Tequila_Wolf was recently forced to leave due to a stalker who was holding the whole site hostage for a year (search the site for ‘ruminator’).

      Anyway please focus on the content of the essay, I don’t want to rehash decade old drama with strangers.

        The way I see things, it’s not about old drama. I am trying to have a talk about a community that you own and actively promote.

        So, doesn’t it make you wonder that in almost a decade you didn’t manage to decentralise the platform project you created, while in the same time you have been writing so many theoretical texts about anarchy?

        Don’t you see the gap between theory and practice? How do you intend to bridge this gap?

          I was told by a mod/admin here not to link to my blog so I have no choice but to link to the raddle version of the article. Normally I wouldn’t link to raddle on a space that’s not specifically anarchist.

          Anarchy has nothing to do with federated technology from my perspective. I’m not interested in arguing with you about this when it has nothing to do with the topic. I think we should delete our comments so we don’t get told off by the mods for breaking the rules.

                  I understand that you think writers shouldn’t accept donations for their essays, but I personally don’t see an issue with it, so I have no reason to move to another platform. Same as I have no reason to make raddle federated because you think a site automatically pushing user data to external servers where it can never be deleted is ideologically desirable. We have different needs and desires.
