I think it’s unknown and basically irrelevant outside of being protective of his trans partner and thinking the way to accomplish protecting his trans partner is putting a global spotlight of right wing vitriol on them for their involuntary connection to an assassination that has not slowed down the anti-queer initiatives in the country.

I’m using gender-neutral pronouns because the reporting on the partner’s identity has been very inconsistent.
