not vegan but reddit continues to be a freeze-peach paradise. bonus points some vegan should slide in here and recommend the vegan comm here

    Yeah I’m not vegan but I am fairly sympathetic to the general concept of not eating meat it significantly reduces emissions. I hope as a mode of food production more things become vegan and can suit a wider range of dietary restrictions while remaining nutritionally complete and dense.

      they’re very strict on c/vegan, i dont (knowingly) eat any animal products nor have bought any animal products since i’ve gone on the diet (i have leather chair from when i still ate meat etc.). i also didnt really go on the diet because of ethics i just think plants are so much more efficient its irresponsible to be eating animal products on top of all the suffering animal agriculture causes

      i have other differing opinions to what seems to be the consensus on c/vegan but all this to say c/vegan is a particuarly, ah, cranky principled set of vegans and i would be very surprised if they would consider me one
