The air quality on Jan1 is awful where I live. There’s never much wind and the gun powder hangs in the air for hours. You can smell it for days.

In addition to at least 20 sanctioned shows, there’s a bastion of rich rednecks a few blocks down from me that launch illegal mortar rounds all day and night. The cops won’t do anything about it because they all go to the same church.

They should be banned, if anything local areas should host a show that people can go see, but individuals shouldn’t have them, setting them off for hours on end.
