Just wanted to say it is crazy that even the fictional distopian US has more public transport than the real one.

    I guess if you have a society where 99% of people can’t afford private transport, it makes sense that the government would prioritize public transit, if only to get laborers to their labor efficiently

    the cyberpunk 2077 game feels the most to me like where we are going and even that has good transit at the core but plenty of poor folk outside the transit system.
