      Agreed, fuck JKR.

      That said, there is a trans character in the game and you can be trans yourself — just make your character female and then select “Wizard” at the end or make your character male and select “Witch.” JKR hates that. She does not approve of the game.

      I got the game for ten bucks on Xbox. I also claimed it for free on Epic, but that’s only the Windows version and I only use Windows at work (and I do not/cannot game at work). I’m definitely not supporting her. The ten bucks I spent got me about 25 hours of entertainment. You can’t beat that. Well, you can — I mean, I paid $6 for the Mass Effect legendary trilogy, and that was like 120 hours. I paid about ten for The Witcher 3 with all the DLC (minus the one coming next year) and that’s supposed to be 60+ hours (not really sure but I know it’s a long game). Getting long RPGs on sale is really the way to go. And love the Wizarding World or not, flying in games is really hit or miss. It’s either good, or it sucks. And they nailed broom flying. It’s so much fun. I’m gonna hate replaying the game before getting a broom.

    I gotta ask, how does a cracked PC game unlock DLCs on consoles? Interested to know because I don’t want to drop 20 bucks for the Dark Arts DLC.

    I’m kinda done with the game, but wouldn’t mind having another go. There are House exclusive quests. I chose Ravenclaw because of course I did (*gestures at post/comment history*), but I hear the Slytherin and Hufflepuff quests are pretty good. Gryffindor is kinda okay? (From what I’ve heard, they say the same about Ravenclaw’s, with some saying we get the worst one.)

    My Ravenclaw was basically a better Hermione, so Dark Arts were used against anyone threatening her, with the core belief that there is no knowledge that is not power. Apparently, Rayden was a Ravenclaw. I mean if you’re gonna tell us that Merlin was a Slytherin…
