Following on from my first post of an American Robin nest just outside my kitchen window, here are some more shots of the same birds a few days later. This was just before they left the nest.

    Thanks! We’d really only seen adults up until now, while walking around the neighborhood. This was the first time we’d seen fledglings. Just luck that they decided to make their nest right outside our window!

    I love the way they run – head down, little legs pumping – unlike the sparrows etc. that go hop-hop-hop.
