Right now it’s just a single HTML page that says hello world. I’ve got a subdomain running gitea with my personal projects on it, I’m trying to think of what I want to put on the main site though and right now my only idea is to put the web build of my Godot game on there.
no link cuz this is going to be connected to my real name and I don’t want to dox myself fuck it we ball dunaway.io
<marquee> then a visitor counter then an rss feed then 50gb of react bullshit. Make sure it’s compatible with IE5 and safari for windows i still use that
The HTML <marquee> element is deprecated and its use is strongly discouraged.

yeah well mozilla isn’t their dad.
i wrote some html like two years ago and used a bunch of deprecated tags because it’s what i remembered without looking anything up and it all worked fine in the chromium browser i checked with.
It works perfectly on my favourite browser netscape navigator. I don’t even know what this mozilla is
i think it’s a godzilla sequel?

we’re bringing geocities back, baby!
Just put up an Anubis loading screen that never finishes.
good idea. I’ll tell people it’s really awesome and interactive.
List of grievances.
oh right now I’ve got a MOTD that posts random quotes from MLs, I could totally swap it for this.
I’ve got this idea for like an in-browser jrpg where you get into random battles as you click on different pages. Lately I have been talking about this cool idea I have for like a virtual pet rts, so I might make the website a hub for the alpha version of that. So many possibilities!
Are you on the hexbear gamedev Discord? Would be cool talk about your projects
I mean posting your godot game seems just fine to me.
No need to force yourself to produce “content” for your personal page, just whatever comes to you when it comes to you.
I’ve been thinking about it while I walk my dog, since my godot game is a collection of mini games I’m going to start with setting up a page for each mini game to be run in standalone mode. It’s a good place to start but definitely not where I want to end.

this but instead of a potato it’s buttered toast
one of those efficient swarm animations from webgl
Oh I could combine this with my love of arcade games - the swarm is The Qix, the user can draw lines with their finger/mouse to claim territory!

Carl’s BETTER Web Page
I really like blogs, even when they’re sporadically updated. And it doesn’t have to only be writing, it can be a whole mix of things like pictures, videos, code snippets, you name it.
Plus, Journaling is fun
Everything I’m thinking of doing basically turns this into a mixed-media blog. Posting my godot games to it, computer projects, etc.
Sounds pretty awesome. I should get back into writing, too
