My wife and I were trying to find a furniture store yesterday and my old phone was acting up. (Already ordered fair phone) Google maps had a different name for the store.
So happy to see my first two changes added! Can’t wait to go around fixing more stuff.
You probably already know of it, but i will still recommend (for others) StreetComplete(F-Droid). Its a somewhat gamified osm editor that automatically puts lil flags all over the map around you for things that need fixing or updating. One example being opening hours, because those change from time to time so its useful to check sometimes if they are still correct. Another is accessibility things like “is there a ramp here” or “is there a railing for these stairs”.

I’ve always seen this app in fdroid and went like ehh just some fork of osm. This feels amazing. Downloading it now.
Any ideas for ios? I’ve noticed some things missing or incorrect on the main ios app but the corrections features available in-app only let me suggest changes to the address or category or leave an open ended note to volunteers.
Go map! and Every Door are the 2 most commonly used editors on ios. Go map has some streecomplete-like quests. More info in the wiki: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/IOS
MapComplete is more of a web app that can also be a good option here. It also allows you to leave reviews for locations, which will show up on CoMaps, as well as upload images of locations/menus/etc.

The update process takes a little bit, so by the time the update hits, expect the data to be a snapshot from a day or two before.
