People are not allowed to disagree or not like? What’s the downvote button even for then?
I also read a post about downvoted content being “buried”, so I guess most people have their feed by Hot and that’s why? And what would be wrong with that anyway?

edit: I should have been more clear, I’m talking more about mods being touchy. If a random user gets mad that he was downvoted, there’s not much they can do, but there are mods banning people for downvotes lol
I hate Facebook and Instagram so much because you can’t really “dislike” a comment. It’s how these stupid echo chambers happen because people only see how many people like their point of view, they don’t see the thousands that think they are a fucking idiot.
if they did that they wouldn’t use the platform anymore.
every platform, including lemmy, wants more users, and one way to make sure you don’t drive users away is to never ‘punish’ them.
