Once you get involved with helping others, you start to work on issues that are larger than you are. All of your personal issues diminish because you don’t have the time or energy to focus on them, and many of those personal problems will solve themselves. When you are working with others on conflicts that are bigger than you, you can see that you, along with other people, do have the power to make changes. When you are part of the change, you open yourself to a whole different world.
