You ever met a Uyghur person? The ones I know have issues with what their people went through in the late-2010s but they’re most definitely still very alive and Uyghur.

States of any ideology are always going to want to identify and control who’s coming and going from their territory for a huge range of reasons. That’s just a reality of states existing.

I had a Jianbing burger at a burger store in China once. Had the crispy whatever-it-is and real jianbing sauce. Was pretty tasty.

But the real Chinaburger answer is Roujiamo.

For the average person though, pop science is enough. Reading real science literature won’t benefit my life in any material way.
