Wisdom is probably a very real feature of society we need and depend on. I think with the suddenness of all the technological advancement the wisdom we needed to have in place just wasn’t there.

It’s almost like the reason there isn’t any visitors in a universe filled with life is knowledge cannot advance as fast as intelligence.

It’s not their platform was weak. It’s that they are weak. They hold their tongue while their opponents are jerking off in their face. They mind their Ps & Qs while someone holds a gun to a child’s head somewhere in America. They govern “responsibly” while half the government is on fire. There is no sense of urgency, there is no sense of reality, there is no sense they actually give a fuck.

It’s easy to stand up there at the podium and wane intellectual about filling the sky with stars and ask us all to “keep fighting” but where was your fight? How did you lose to this with everything on the line?

Why would we fight for a bunch of fish to be thrown on land so we can sit there and watch them flop around drowning in a political environment that is killing them?

Hey, I’ll probably delete my account soon because I shilled so hard for this campaign and it feels so gross. I knew day one enthusiasm was going to sink the dems and pushed back against the apathy as hard as I could. I was pretty devastated when kamala took the stage at the DNC and gave her support for, “a strong military” and talked about her gun or what ever. After that was just going through the motions and convincing myself I wasn’t crazy for not wanting trump to win this badly.

The way I see it now, and will remember as we go in the future the DNC offers nothing. That’s not fair, they do a lot of good for state and local governments but at a federal level, they will never be able to effect real change. Maybe it’s because the way the fed is setup or for what ever other reason. It’s not that the leadership has failed, it’s that they can’t win. I’ve hopped to lots of different possible solutions for Americans over the years and I guess there is one way out. Until we see liberals migrate away from the cities and take root in the land we will never have a government that represents them. That’s where the war will be fought. Until then, even if Trump doesn’t crown himself king asshole it’s the RNC’s game the DNC just resets the board.

Their assumptions must be wrong. They do not account for the most basic principle of the universe, “the show must go on.”

If the people won’t rise up for the sake of their own children then the only solution is to out spend climate change. Capitalism won’t save itself, it will monetize the downfall. So in a way these tech companies are doing exactly what their suppose to but not really what they should.

Aren’t we all going to die one day? Doing anything to improve one’s life seems pretty pointless to me.

You don’t have to imagine it. You will get to live it if you don’t do one specific thing. Show up at the polls and vote blue.

It won’t save the world. It will buy four years. If that’s not good enough do what you should have done four years ago, keep these discussions alive. Make Kamala regret ever wanting to be president by forcing her to make the right decisions. Also, since she never won a presidential primary force the Dems to have an open primary in 2027.

I know I can’t make any of this happen. WE have to make it happen.

Trying to think of a way to profit off the haords of concern trolls taking about “destabilizing the economy” if this ever became a thing. I don’t know much but I know if the first thing happens the second thing is guaranteed.

That’s how you end up arguing whether any sick time is on the table and then the government steps in and says no sick time now back to work. Don’t ask for just any sick time. Ask for fucking 2 months of paid leave for all workers and a $300,000 salary.

The hold outs for these sites are so fucking dumb. They act like social media is somehow an important part of their existence when just 10, 20 years ago it was an emerging technology. These early iterations of social media are toxic as fuck. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. They don’t deserve your patronage and are taking your goodwill and turning it into social decay.

10-20 years and you people can’t give it up for something better. There is no argument. You don’t owe them loyalty. They aren’t innovating. They have contributed to the rise of authoritarianism.
