“… The very pants he was wearing…”
Easy fix?
Tactics is getting more of a remaster than a remake. It’s also missing a bunch of content that was added in the PSP version. Honestly I don’t think it will sell terribly well.
I tried to play Fade to Black, but it sucks hard… The new sequel apparently ignores it.
I prefer Commandos. I heard they’re making a new one. Not sure if it’s been released yet.
The was a Stargate SG-1 tactics game that came out, but it was so disappointingly terrible that I never finished it.
Flashback.
I played it on SNES, but it was on a few consoles. I heard they are making a sequel so that’s cool. It’s science fiction with flavours of total recall, they live, and running man. I just really enjoyed the prince of Persia style gameplay but cyberpunk.
Parasite Eve
More specifically number 2, because the first one never officially came to pal regions. It’s like resident evil but SciFi/body horror. The third game was shit because they lost the rights to the novel it was originally based on. If there’s any game sequel that I wish for it would be a proper PE3.
Going around Vancouver looking for the filming locations from my favourite TV show. Trying to find all the angles to match screenshots from the show. I know it’s a bit silly but that TV show inspired me to get into the career I’ve worked in for the last decade and is a fond memory of growing up. Vancouver is such a nice place, and if I had the money I’d consider moving there.
The catalyst, not the fuel
I just saw an advertisement for a custom T-shirt:
“That’s right, I’m a December dad, who lives at 62a, with size 10 feet and prescription glasses…”

It reminds me of the joke in Curb Your Enthusiasm about ?Muslims? having sex by cutting a hole in a bed sheet.
I’ve always considered an avatar to be a sort of pseudo persona rather than just the thumbnail attached to an account.
Are you referring to people’s profile pictures as avatars? Otherwise I have no idea what you mean.
I rolled back. It was fairly easy and now the downloads work again.
A lot of the angst about the server requirements for Plex pass really have to stretch the truth to become a victim. It only affects you if you were using it for free, in which case 🤷, it was free, it’s hard to feel bad about it.
The only thing I’m disappointed in is the free mobile streaming comes at the same time they released the new broken app. When they get around to fixing the app I’ll be able to tell my friends they can now use the app. The server owner paying once is much better than every person paying for the app.
It’s inappropriate because you’re not allowed to review your own companies software, let alone do so without declaring as such.
If he was forthcoming in his review, it would have been to obvious that it’s a breach of the ToS. Workers are not permitted to review apps made by their own company.
This is 100% a shady review.
Oof. I tried to tell a manager why a certain technical thing wouldn’t work, and he pulled out his phone and started reading the Google AI summary “no, look, you just need to check the network driver and restart the router”. It was two devices that were electrical not compatible, and there was no IP infrastructure involved.
Hallucination is the technical term for when the output of an LLM is factually incorrect. Don’t confuse that with the normal meaning of the word.
A bug in software isn’t an actual insect.
At least your knives will be sharp
Clever, but very hands on
