I agree with most others, manual is useful to know in case you have to drive one. It will surely become less and less important with electrification of cars, but until then, knowing to drive manual might come in handy for you.

“Surprise” strike is a bit of a stretch, I would say. The union announced a list of the 10 airports where strikes occur today on friday and HAM is included in this list.
I’m curious, is there a reason why noone uses deja-dup? I use it with an external SSD on Ubuntu and (receently) Mint, where it comes pre-installed, and did not encounter Problems.
