Hi! I’m British, I like music (grime, garage, hip-hop, R&B, and more!). I like art, culture, history, politics, & doomscrolling memes.
Also a touch of programming :)
also on /u/Madbrad200@lemmy.world
i literally JUST installed fakespot lol
Gonna be the odd one out here and say that all of these names are kinda stupid, but Lemmyverse is probably the best of the bunch.
It’s definitely not luxury by any means but the car itself is mostly a Toyota creation. Same car as Toyota Aygo. There are worse things to be driving!
In Ecosia’s settings you can set it to primarily use Google results instead of Bing. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to use.
That’s cool man, big up.
lol there’s a high likelihood I will move to a right-side-driving country at some point in the future and this does worry me.
Oh good point about the pressure gauge
It’s always bothered me how dirty other peoples cars can be lol
It does require some tinkering but you can do that with Librewolf
If I knew it was gonna cost me 5 grand I might’ve felt a little different about it lol
Use a custom DNS to block stuff like this. PiHole, nextdns, adguard etc.
Both uBlock Origin and my piHole are blocking prod.vodvideo.cbsnews.com
(which is the video autoplaying). My browser (Librewolf) also blocks it - as blocked because the triggering iframe has the sandbox flag set.
. Stuff like this always is down to your own set up.
nvm figured it out edit: it’s webgl being disabled in about:preferences#librewolf - figure it out via hamburger menu > more tools > web developer tools > console, and seeing errors about WebGL pop up.
Is there a way to change this behaviour?
You may wish to use a script to change all Lemmy links to point to your home instance https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/469273-lemmy-universal-link-switcher
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/469273-lemmy-universal-link-switcher
Switches all lemmy links to your instance.
It’s still worth posting, a lot of people browse Lemmy only using the /all feed.
kbin died, mbin forked away from it and is still around though.
I think that’s part of the appeal to lemm.ee to be honest, and I can’t say I disagree; users should be able to make that choice.
Is the bot dead now?
