Digesting plastic into organic molecules is definitely good. Making it food-grade is probably impractical, but making it not plastic is good for sure.

I like having a term to refer to female x female relationships specifically. Maybe in part because if I call myself “gay” people might think that I like men because they might see me as a man. I’m not a fan of how the meanings of “gay” and “straight” are so context-dependent in general. It might be nicer to have commonly used terms that just mean male-attracted and female-attracted. In the meantime, I appreciate that the lesbian label fits me and is clear on both fronts (about my identity and the identity of those I’m attracted to).

I hope it’s not talking about RadFems. Like, the TERF/SWERF types. I don’t like those and don’t really consider them to be feminists at all. If it means being strongly committed to feminism, though, then I’m in.

I obviously can’t speak definitively for any individual besides myself. However, I think I can make a pretty solid guess as to why that is.

Trans women, especially those who transition later in life, have prior experience with being seen as men by society. And they probably found life to be difficult when living as a man, in many cases. So, I think that because of that, they can be more likely to empathize with men.

Personally, I try to empathize with every person, regardless of gender. I think that the people who deserve scorn still end up looking bad when you give them that benefit.

It’s hard to say on some of these things, but 12 was the count that I got.
