I’m a SAHW, so it really is no surprise that we use a joint account for everything. We do have separate savings for personal expenditures that we put an even amount into every paycheck.

When someone enters the polycule and moves in, they pay into the joint account and we split expenses, but this only happened once. Anything large is discussed between those in the polycule if the third+ individual is paying in. We’ll see if that stays the same if we find another person to join us again.

Admittedly I wish I could work, but I can’t, so that really shapes how things work here.

I bet beer cheese and pretzels would be extremely easy to make vegan. The pretzels are already there; Just a matter of making beer cheese vegan, which shouldn’t be difficult.

Nothing I can think of. Probably a side effect of having pride figuratively beat out of me in college.

It would be a difficult experience. Very likely messy and difficult to eat at a ball game. Still very tasty.

I would try these. Looks pretty tasty for a one-time thing.

Pair this with a little ice cream and it would be very pleasant. Like an a la mode sort of handheld ordeal.

Oh that is quite useful. Thanks for the resource. If I ever find myself back on Debian, I will keep this in mind. Unfortunately, it doesn’t carry any updated packages for the issues I was experiencing.

My issues that I’ve run into sat in the UXes and in drivers. Not the easiest fixes to work around for most. But yes, the packages you mention are indeed fairly simple to workaround if necessary thanks to robust, external package managers.

It is worth adding that using Debian stable comes with the price of being several versions behind on most software packages. It rarely matters, but it’s a pain in the ass for the times that it does.

Canonical just can’t stop showing their ass. Do many people even use Ubuntu anymore? I feel like most have jumped ship to Linux Mint at this point. Either way, this in addition to all of Canonical’s previous blunders should tell people to gtfo of their environment.

Amongst the ones I’ve played, 9 is definitely my favorite. Love the story and the gameplay. Not faultless, but definitely the most complete game IMO. I think the weakest is maybe 12. I didn’t make it far as the battle system flopped for me and the story just couldn’t grab me.

For the record, I haven’t played 3, 6, 8, or 15. Not counting MMOs.

In my eyes, they are workers, but in today’s environment they are vastly overvalued. For the ones with overly inflated salaries, they should have that money distributed amongst the others involved in the works they’re involved in.

I can see how one can see them as Bourgeoisie. In the end, for them to make their overly inflated salaries, they are exploiting all of the folks behind the scenes to make such sums of money. Not much different from a factory owner if you think about it.

I could be way off on this. I’m just giving my unadulterated thoughts on the matter.

Put a mini guillotine in the kitchen for this very purpose.

I honestly already drive this slowly at max through the main roads in my suburb that are unmarked (everything but the main arteries). Lots of kids and lots of cars in the summer, and lots of ice and snow in the winter. It’s honestly just the safe thing to do. Usually have people riding my ass when I drive like this, but they’ll live. So will all the kids that play outside around here.

Perhaps. Kewpie is by far and away the best mayo for me. It is definitely its own thing. It doesn’t taste too terribly much like the other mayos, but that’s because it’s a Japanese mayo.

Mayo and mustard is a fantastic combination of Western sauces. Definitely my favorite for just about any type of sandwich. Just gotta make sure you get the right mayo for the job (Kewpie)

My polycule expanded, contracted, then expanded again. Suppose that’s something. My painting has gotten a lot better, too.

That’s fair. I love GNOME and thought MacOS’s UI was pretty damn close. I enjoyed it.

Mac feels like a really controlled, user-friendly Linux-like environment. The terminal does share some commands (since it is UNIX-based), so that’ll feel familiar at the very least. Also, if you’ve experience with GNOME 3, the interface is practically the same with some tweaks. It is a familiar base experience even though it has less user control. So, if I were approached with this option, I would choose Mac 100% of the time.

I just use the default iPhone keyboard. Easily my least favorite difference between Android and iOS is how bad this keyboard is. Swipe typing sucks. I often fat finger keys I should not be fat fingering. Predictive typing is something I have to actively fight against. In fact, it was so bad I turned it off entirely.

That said, iPhone’s 9-key Japanese keyboard is really good and responsive. That one I don’t have any issues with whatsoever. My typo rate on it is very low since it’s very intent driven. I doubly appreciate the ASCII emoji key on it. It’s pretty fantastic. ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
