  • It is pretty standard in most electric cars I’ve been in that it shows the kWh/h as it charges and how many kWh it has charged when complete.

Also your comment reminds me of the Boots economic theory. That poor people pay more overall because keep buying cheap boots yearly rather than spend more once on expensive boots every 10 years like the rich.

A captured government is the problem, the corrupt administration and the purchased opposition can’t do anything for you like cheap power and subsidized electric cars because it doesn’t help their donors.

It may not be the intended purpose but I certainly does change how the world is seen by everyone using it to warp the mind’s eye to how the world actually physically is.

Edit: Does it do an excellent job for navigational purposes if you are shipping from Japan to Brazil or it it only excellent for shipping from the northern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere?

  • I was using Mint for a while with my 10 year old PC build that was crashing all the time then I upgraded my system and Mint didn’t have support for my newer video card so I moved to Nobara.

I haven’t had to use the terminal at all since. I run the update system program every few days but I’m sure it could be automated without needing a password but I like seeing what is being updated so I keep it manual.

It has much more support for games than Mint seems to have had. I could use the terminal if I wanted to but it hasn’t been needed which is how I want it, available but unnecessary.

  • I got diagnosed with severe complex sleep apnea (central and obstructive). I spent a few weeks with a CPAP but not dialed into the correct pressure but after my first night of sleeping with a CPAP in the lab to get the pressure correct I woke up and went to work.

I was confused because I felt odd, it took me 10-15 minutes standing on a forklift trying to figure out what the fuck was happening. I finally realized that I was experiencing what being awake was for the first time in my life at 32. I reintroduced myself to coworkers I had worked with for a few years because I had been in a haze for most of my life.

  • Hoping a cascade failure won’t happen is probably the only thing to work towards.

It isn’t that the world will not be habitable, it will just be inhospitable to humans in large groups. Humans are probably well past stopping temperature gains that will collapse marine ecosystems. Once those collapse what is going to collapse next? Bears rely on salmon coming back, forests rely on the minerals from the bears feeding and smaller scavenger mammals rely on the the fish too.
