This argument is covered in the article.
I think the point they’re getting at Is that you can’t use a self-hosted vpn to hide your piracy activity because the link is registered to yourself.
It actually is available on the website, but like most stores their mobile web experience isn’t great.
That actually made me laugh out loud. 😂
The Lowe’s app is actually really handy. You can look up any item and it will tell you the exact isle and bay it’s in for your store. No more wandering around or hunting for an employee to ask. It’s the only store app I actually keep on my phone.
Hey Discord, give us the ability to stream audio when sharing our screen on Linux ffs.
I’ve been using screenfetch.
This is the first I’ve heard of the MIG. Seems like a good solution for making backups of games for safe keeping on my PC. I attempted to hack my switch a while back in order to dump my games for that exact reason but could never get it to work properly. Thanks for making me aware of this device, Nintendo!
Def not my cup of tea… It looks awful. But if they’re happy with it, that’s all that matters I suppose.
IDK man, I’ve been using it exclusively on my main desktop at home and I’ve been getting along just fine with those “not particularly good” applications.
Speed. Unfortunately (at least the last time I looked into it) NVENC still beats the socks off of VAAPI in render times and I’m sure Nvidia likes it that way.
I’m unfortunately stuck with Nvidia for the time-being because I need NVENC.
I’m on Nvidia and have had the same experience as you. Everything just works.
I dicked around with the VM route for a while and could never really get it working 100% to my liking. There was always a trade-off. I ended up just getting a second PC and tucking it in a cabinet out of sight. When I need Windows I just use remote desktop to connect to it.
On top of that the actual article is a big nothing-burger. Not worth reading beyond the title.
I have a core i3 system with a PCIe SAS controller and 8x 8TB drives in RAID 6. It currently hosts my Jellyfin library, Immich library, and is also my primary fileserver for the LAN. I actually just moved my old 4x 5TB array from that machine over to my primary desktop to hold my Steam library. Pretty good setup if you like to tinker around with stuff.
Do your friend a favor and install Windows back on his laptop for him.
I found a small Dell B1160W at Goodwill for $5 new in box! Best little printer I’ve ever had and I’m still on the original toner cartridge. My only gripe is that it’s wireless or USB. Would love to have wired LAN, but for $5 I can’t complain!
Adobe does anti-consumer shit. More at 11.
