  • He let’s me freely hang out at his nice place full of amenities so I can’t badmouth him

Lmfao, no, you can, you just like the taste of boot, and the benefits he gives you (that he only has because he exploits people like you) too much to.

Also, those last two points in the meme, as well as this being your only post on a new account strongly suggest that this is a troll, or at the very least, a really sad LARP, rather than observations made by someone who has ever spent any time at all with any actual rich people.

  • I love how the men who can’t help but pipe up about how “ackchyually” this isn’t the case because reasons all magically happen to anecdotally be the statistical anomalies of what decades of research (not to mention their reflexive reaction) has repeatedly proven is a real problem that exists across all walks of life.

Like pretty much all posts about anything even remotely feminism related, it is a self selection mechanism that they just can’t help but react to.

being patient like that definitely a skill that is not always easy to get right, and certainly takes practice.

What it mostly takes is mountains of privilege.

Not to mention that tone policing and demanding faux civility (but only from one side, the other gets to openly support oppressive constructs and still be seen as “well meaning” while those defending their humanity and fighting for survival get framed as the problem) are tools that serve to further oppress already marginalise voices, not uplift them.

    Do better.

When it comes to social justice, "friendly debate" usually means "unpaid
emotional labor in which you are pressured to be super patient and kind to me while I invalidate your humanity and the humanity of people you love." People's lives are not a thought experiment.

Why do I have to watch my language for fear of alienating allies, when they can watch us die without fear of anything?

He’s propaganda for American exceptionalism sure, but also embodies it in an old school New Deal way. The character has been consistently anti-facist over the years.

Pretending that America isn’t only already fascist, but inspired the fascists they are supposedly against is American exceptionalism, and you’re eating it right up.

  • The fact that anyone would need this amount of mental gymnastics to find reason enough to relate to the women potentially being targeted, to be against it, is pretty fucked up in its own right.

A large part of how patriarchy works is that men aren’t expected to, so often don’t, give a shit about the harm it causes until something impacts them directly, and even then, they will only actively oppose it if it harms them significantly more than what the patriarchy benefits them (toxic masculinity being a prime example of self harm many men are reluctant to fight).

Catering to this feature of the system only perpetuates it. Stop creating convoluted ways for them to relate (even “your mothers and sisters” shouldn’t be needed), and start expecting, and demanding, they simply consider and therefor treat all humans equally (which magically leads to caring about what happens to women just as much as they would if it were men under threat).

Was killing a murderous CEO a good and inspiring thing to do, and do we need to see more of that kind of direct action? Abso-fucking-lutely.

Is putting anyone, however much you might admire an action/s they took, up on a pedestal, ever a constructive thing to do? No.

Is spouting bigotry ever acceptable? Never.

And the only thing overlooking and brushing off bigotry achieves is more bigotry, and sending the message to the marginalised people around you that you care more about venerating a stranger who causes them harm but made you feel warm and fuzzy for a minute, than you do about ending their oppression.

This is why “no war but the class war” fails every time - intersectionality is essential, and if you don’t use your privilege to prioritise protecting those who are more marginalised than you, even from supposed allies (which a frankly terrifying number of people seem entirely reluctant to do) - then what the fuck are you doing? (enabling and participating in bigotry is what)

If you can’t deal with valid criticism of someone you consider a hero, you’re not a fan, you’re a cult follower, and nothing good has ever come from being part of a cult.

E: Just adding what I’ve seen so far, if your knee jerk reaction is to defend these posts, or brush them off as “error in judgment” or whatever (especially if you would be outraged if, say, some random MAGA had made similar statements, as I’m sure many have), you are saying that their content, and the people it is aimed at, are acceptable collateral damage to you.

Luigi Mangione reposted Gurwinder @G_S_Bhogal Wokeism needs racism to exist, so it's always looking to pathologize new things as racist, including, now, attempts to start conversation by asking where you're from. If wokeism teaches minorities to be traumatized even by friendly gestures, it cannot claim to bridge divides

If this is him the shooter is a tech bro who think a lot about masculinity and retweets videos of Peter Thiel and Mike Benz and also retweets a literal Nazi account talking about falling birthrates with a weird long list of ways to make Japanese people have more babies bsky.app/profile/kash... Luigi Mangione @PepMangione
Modern Japanese urban environment is an evolutionary mismatch for the human animal.
The solution to falling birthdates isn't immigration. It's cultural.
Encourage natural human interaction, sex, physical fitness and spirituality:
*ban Tenga fleshlights and "Japan Real Hole" custom pornstar pocket pussies being sold in Don Quixote grocery stores
*replace conveyor belt sushi and restaurant vending machine ordering. with actual human interaction with a waiter
*replace 24/7 eSports cafes where young males earn false fitness
signals via Tekken fighting and Overwatch shooting games, with
athletics in school
*heavily stigmatize maid cafes where lonely salarymen pay young girls to dress as anime characters and perform anime dances for them revitalize traditional Japanese culture (Shintoism, Okinawan karate, onsen, etc)

Immigration won't solve anything, it's maybe a short term solution at best.
Japan will be fine as long as it stays Japanese

  • Yeah, because being objectified and sexualised from before you even hit puberty, having fewer rights (including those to your own body), getting paid less for the same work and not at all for all the work that isn’t considered work by men like raising kids and running a home, wondering if we’re one of the women who WILL statistically get murdered by their partner on any given week, being subjected to near constant rape threats and almost certainly (again, statistically it’s pretty much all women) surviving sexual harassment and abuse if not rape too and then facing an entire system dedicated to discrediting and blaming you while protecting the abusers (“wouldn’t want to ruin his life over a bit of fun”), as well as having to deal with misogynistic asshats such as yourself who convince themselves that because men buy us drinks at bars (in an expectation of sex, of course) we’ve got it easy, and pretend none of the other things are happening because it’s easier to gaslight your victims than it is to accept that you’re a massive and active part of the problem, on a daily basis, is a real fucking treat…
