Yeah often feels like marxists seek the liberation of workers and no one else. Like communism is cool and all but the concept of a dictatorship of a proletariat, when done correctly, gives workers all the power over everyone else. While workers having power is definitely good, it would mean workers could dominate and oppress any other group that doesn’t or can’t work like disabled people. That’s why anarchism is way better

Not a fan of ziq but I do have to admit that I’d agree that marxism and anarchism want something different. I think it’s fair to say they want something similar but not exactly the same. Marxism wants communism that is supported through a marxist like apparatus, with a centralized administration, even after the withering away of the state. And they would still support heighachy and the existence of political power, while anarchists who advocate communism advocate for a decentralized anarchist society with communist economics

Definitely a good read. Youth liberation is super important. Young people are forced to suffer so much abuse and mistreatment because they aren’t considered “adult” it’s unbelievable

I think you’re right when you say that the saying “rules without rulers” is usually used to put down the idea that anarchists just want people running around killing each other.

But it’s worth noting that anarchists don’t really support rules as most people think of them they’re more voluntary agreements created through consensus decision making

Pretty interesting to me how something like this seems to be ignored by the vast majority of society
