I don’t think that that many women want bigger boobs. I have more friends who dislike having big boobs vs small boobs.

Actually weird that it has taken so long. As a smaller person I was unable to finish any plate when I visited the states and wished there was an option for me to order a “child’s” portion. This also makes it easier for people to lose weight while not on glp1.

I had a similar experience with an exchange student who visited in february. She very worriedly asked why our trees didn’t have any leaves and was amazed when I said that just happens in winter and they come back.

A spanish waterdog, with a mix of herding/hunting/working instincts. I’m pretty sure the only emotions that influence his behavior are his own. So I get more socks when he is either anxious or excited.

My dog did the same, so I just taught him to bring me my socks in the morning. Either yesterdays socks lying on the floor or I’ll toss a new pair on the floor for him. When he gets excited for walks he’ll bring me socks. When I come home he brings me socks. When I take my socks off because it’s hot, he’ll bring them back… but at least he doesn’t chew them anymore. And he loves the little chore.

We have the reverse. My boyfriend can clean the whole apartment and still leave it looking messy, whereas I only clean when absolutely necessary, but will keep stuff tidy.

With my parents, I see that they try to be equal in the work, but my dad rarely comes up with stuff to do on his own, so my mom always has to ask for every chore. He came from a “traditional roles” family, so probably suffering the after effects from that.

It might be hard for them to find someone who is both fluent in english AND knows the field well enough to know vegetative electron microscopy is not a thing. Most universities have one general translation help service and science has a lot of field-specific weird terms.

Agreed! I’m finishing my one-and-only phd at the moment (hopefully) and feel completely done with academics.

How is that possible?? And why would anyone do two phds? I thought that was just a hollywood trope.
