Yep. Learning a lot of common inputs on Windows does and does not apply with Linux. Lots of muscle memory to retrain myself on.

Sometimes ctrl c / v doesn’t work and it’s a combination of ctrl, super and C.
Que confused “what’s the super key”
Turns out that’s what the windows key on my keyboard is called. So far only when I was messing with the terminal.
The screenshot tool in Brazzite. I think it’s called spectre.

I’ve recently dove back into Linux and my last try was on Mint. After a few issues I went back to Windows. With the recent Microsoft news I wasn’t happy using a system that could start spying on me.
It’s been close to a month and aside from some specific game issues likely due to running a nivida GPU I’ve been enjoying my time so far.
Copy paste did take a while to get used to. Also the default screenshot tool doesn’t automatically put the snip on the clipboard.
My main focus is gaming so this has been a solid operating system to use.
It’s been interesting so far. I used it to install some programs instead of using the GUI interface.
Did have to muck around to fix my HDMI audio latency issue. 1-3 seconds of not audio was a bit annoying.
Managed to get my dual boot with windows setup so Linux is the default OS unless I tell it to do Windows instead.
Even used it to shutdown the computer a few times just because I could.
It’s not as bad or intimidating but I do know to be cautious.
One bad SUDO and I can wipe something out.
I’ll check that link this weekend when I have more time.
I have limited experience with terminal. I used it to update Mint last year when I tried but had to read a lot of forums just to know what to type.
I have no idea what btrfs is or gamescope. I’ll look them up soon.
I did find the flat pak to help install programs and got a few loaded already.
Agreed. I’m working towards that goal. I think the biggest hurdle is if a game runs on Windows but not as well on Linux I might opt to finish the game on Windows. Even with proton I did find a game I was playing recently was noticeably lower quality or “laggy”

I left because of things the company was doing. I liked being part of a community that aligned with my interests.
I miss being able to play with people like that. The challenge of raids were fun and I took a lot of pride in the progress we were making.
Honestly it’s been lonely. I’ve tried to play other games with people but it felt disconnected and eventually I walked away from that and only played single player games.

So here’s the deal. I can’t understand people. Between the ADHD and general hearing issues I would pay a lot to have the ability to have subtitles on people. I feel left out on a lot of conversations due to not being able to follow along.

I’ve been a bodybuilder for six months and this is my take. The diet is big. Remove excess junk from your food and focus on eating nutrient dense foods. I go hard and measure all my food in grams so I have consistency with my food. Do you have to do this monk level BS? No but I’m pushing myself for health reasons and want to see where it will take me. If you can do four to five meal breaks per day. You just eat a lot less per sitting. It helps keep hunger pains away and I never feel like I’m starving or so full I’ll burst.
If you find your caloric needs per day you can slowly enter a deficit. KEY. Deficit is not starving yourself. So don’t think you can do 1/2 your daily needs and magic will happen. Something will happen but not what you’ll want in the end.
Be safe. Be smart. Good luck.

I actually really like the look of it. It’s so ugly.
Also paint. I hate seeing paint chips on my car. I know I can wrap but that’s an extra expense to eat.
I just can’t see myself buying a new Tesla due to the damage Elon has caused. It’s a shame because my current Tesla is a wonderful car, in my opinion.

I wonder if people don’t want the truck because of its design or the association with Elon more.

I used Netflix on my TV but after the password sharing and other issues I choose to block network access.
Most of my Internet is done on my computer.

So glad I blocked my TVs access to the Internet at the router level. Never complainrd about not setting up a network if the network doesn’t work.

Find the little things that are easy to fix. Recently I had two sections of my laminated flooring that started to peel. I got some low profile transaction strips and set them up. Worked out that the area to repair the actual divide between my living room and dining room so it looks like it was supposed to be there.

Spicy release notes. Not for the faint of heart.
Outbound inferiority
I make sure what I send is going to fail all the tasks. Nothing but the worst for my customers.

Would you buy one if they were more affordable? Personal experience I agree they are quite a lot of money to get behind the wheel of.
While we have plenty of gas stations to fill up with home charging can be another hurdle that’s costly or impossible depending on the living situation.
Minor issue is the vulken shaders that load before I play a game. Most of the time it’s quick and only done after an update but some games do take a long time.
Also having issues where Wine freezes up when running applications. Sometimes for close to two minutes before responding. I haven’t looked into this one yet as it just happened recently.
Bazzite with Nvidia GPU of this matters.
Non pain point not having the system install updates during my “focus” time and bringing the system to a crawl until I let it finish.
