They’re functionally the same, the oled though has a better screen and a bit better cooling so probably performs ever so slightly better in certain scenarios. And I think slightly better battery life.

Ya, if this hardware hike every decides to end, I’m holding for it. Else I’ll just play all these old bangers I missed and keep playing the really good ones I still do. Not to mention all the shit I can emulate that I never beat. There are so many games to keep me busy for the rest of my life, and so many good indie developers that aren’t chasing that top tier spec PC on their titles that make really good games.

Switch 2 emulation is a long ways away. Its dirt simple on steam deck, just install emudeck, there’s a guide, then download your Roms and dump them in their corresponding folders. And its easy to emulate the n64 version. Deck still has my vote over the competition due to support, repair ability, and hardware overall. Even if it is a few years old at this point.

Strange. No issue here in shitty windows 11 on a lenovo laptop or on my 2019 desktop running Linux. Similar site usage, and some sites I use are using 1GB of RAM each.

I did the same for the first one. While the second was definitely fun, I didn’t really care for how they reused the old world. Definitely give some time between so you can also hit that nostalgia by revisiting the old places, but with a twist
