hot water is a relatively modern luxury. you probably have a living ancestor that remembers not growing up with easy, or any, access to hot water, just hurtfully cold, refreshing water.
It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not weakness; that is life.

Chilean here, we have two classics:
I’d normally go for the latter and save the former for special occasions.

is this the update where I can delete from the address bar history on Android?
True Blood, season 2 IIRC?
This Saturday we had some friends from the board game group over, and I showed them my copy of Kelp, because it’s just a 2p game, I watched them play from the shark side, as I have no poker face for this game. They really enjoyed it!
After that we played Coffee Rush, it’s a great game to play with 4 people because you get lots of coffee orders and the game goes really fast! it was a blast.
I personally think of board games as a graphic design expression. I know there are good games hidden underneath bad or dry art, but I can’t interact with them if they don’t look good to me.
Regarding pieces, I don’t care much for plastic or wooden pieces, I care for things that make sense in terms of readability of the state of the board, and if a game comes with ultra-detailed miniatures but they are all gray, I’d rather have cardboard stand ins that help me differentiate them.
you have access to the internet, an eng degree and you at least write English fairly well. Are you looking for only local jobs? how about remote opportunities? Many companies will hire remote work with no experience, there’s also job brokers, where you are hired for a project and then moved to another. These are by no means the best kind of job, but they can get you back on your feet.
oh don’t get me wrong if I had a plan for it I’d be doing it. I’ve always found it really weird given the impact that Electron had in app development, why Firefox never tried to ride that train. I know of one short lived effort to take the engine out of the browser.
they need to offer a better alternative to Electron. once that happens, you’ll have Firefox everywhere. People will code their SPAs to run in Firefox first, recommend it to their users, and accelerate the development of better APIs.
it’s funny that this is posted in the Firefox echo chamber. We should be sharing this outside our own circles.
that’s cool and all but when are we getting Jellyfin for Tizen on the Samsung TV app store? That’s the only thing stopping me from switching, I don’t want to deploy it myself
and the partner still prefers Netflix, because they hate to think what they want to watch
In Android there are many alternatives to install multiple instances of apps, I think Samsung calls it “secondary copy”, there’s also apps like Parallel Apps, and App Cloner.
In Chile there’s this 2000’s telenovela called “Romané” about a group of gypsies that arrive to a town in northern Chile. I personally don’t understand the fascination, but the show took over the collective minds of the population, I guess it was the abundance of quotable moments and the very distinctive speaking patterns of the characters and their personalities, they were memes before we knew what a meme was. You can quote any character in the show and everyone will know what you’re talking about, even young people.
They’re still rerunning the show every couple of years or so, 25 years later, I’m not aware of any other show here that has resonated so much.
