I wish I could be that cozy
I think it’s the spirit of your comment.
It’s almost in the same vein as someone going to a magic show and loudly proclaiming that magic isn’t real and it’s all stagecraft.
I’d say your comment wasn’t exactly required, we all know it’s just stories. But it’s also an open forum and you’re free to comment all you like. If it’s any consolation, I didn’t downvote you.
True, I’m excited to see the flavor next month.
It’ll be interesting when the pendulum swings towards EVs in america. Car companies will have to convince those coal and gas chuds to go back on all the rhetoric they’ve been fed in order to stay relevent in an evolving market.
A coworker actually referred to trump as daddy once. Out of dead silence, he said to another coworker, “You know, daddy is gunna be in the area soon.” I continued to evesdrop, as I wanted to hear who coworker #2 thought of as ‘Daddy’ with no context. He hesitantly said the names of a few managers in confusion, and the first guy corrected him and mentioned it was the former president.
Taxation doesn’t take into account the fact that wages are stagnant, but corporations have posted record profits. Small businesses are impacted as well, due to the nature of supply chains, most people cannot create something from nothing.
I’d like to address something you said that is unrelated to economics. You said you address secondary or tertiary consequences of arguements. That doesn’t seem like a non-sequitor or people arguing past eachother like some kind of verbal 4-D chess match, typed in this case. It seems to me that you’re saying you assume what the other person might say, then you reply to that assumtion. Can you clarify?
Xia is failing to realize that the original post isn’t about self owned businesses, so their point doesn’t make sense in this context. Based on their other comments, they either don’t understand how discussions, debates, or arguments work, or they’re a troll, or they’re overly saturated on capitalist propoganda.
I wanna know how he got named Charlie when he has a big M on his forehead.
If the US can’t control the critical junction that unites Europe, Africa, and Asia, at least they can prevent China or Russia from building roads, rails, and ports through there.
Is Origins worth playing?
Since mods removed my comment but failed to elaborate why, I’m going to repost it.
Brings to mind the dichotomy of the Russian and Israeli invasions. Ivans blow up a school, and it’s a warcrime. Schlomos blow up a school, and it’s due to their inherent right to self defense.
The comment may not be entirely related to the article directly, but why have a world news community if not for discussing world events?

The orphans must be crushed.
It’s just taking a nap.
Baseless, got it. Thanks.
Do you have any other sources that can be verified? Otherwise, I’ll have to dismiss your claim as baseless. But like I said in other comments, I’m referring to the article and how it sensationalized the death penalty for website clicks, not about China’s intent behind the law or it’s application.
How so?
Absolutely. I agree that life would be so much simpler if it was only black and white issues, but rarely is that the case. And I get it, those binary beliefs are comfortable. But we need to endure the difficulty of questioning our assumptions, pushing out of that simplistic worldview, and learning. It’s the only way we grow as people.
Happened to me as a kid. This huge spider came crawling over my shoulder, but so engrossed was I in the show I was watching, I didn’t notice the monstrosity until it was right in front of my face. I sat up and tried to scream, but no noise came out. I didn’t go into that room again for days.
