Why should we give government or politicians a free pass just because they’re “on our team”? If you can’t find something they’re not doing well, you haven’t looked. Also, a single-axis political spread is passé.

I also learned I meet hEDS criteria, hypermobile joints needed more care than I was giving them, was having too much dopamine from chasing weight numbers. Hopefully I can at least be a cautionary tale.

My newly set expectations are once again subverted!

I thought Station Eleven was pretty good about it, small vehicles / motorcycles for a while, then bicycles and horses + wagons, plus a lot of walking. That was a wildly different scenario though (99.9% of the population poofed in a few day period), so there were a ton of abandoned resources for any survivors.
