If you had dreamt so vividly that you were 80-ish years old, and then immediately after waking up you look in the mirror and see a 40-ish year old looking back at you. For a short time you can’t comprehend what you’re seeing.

Had a similar dream like that. But in my dream I think I died?

So like your dream, mine was hyper vivid too.

Met a girl, we dated, we got married, even had a couple of kids. And then at some point we celebrated our wedding anniversary with a big party. Our kids and grand kids were there. It was an amazing feast. And we go to bed happy, I kiss her good night and tell her how lucky I am, and then I startled myself awake and I find myself alone in bed in my darkened house.

I figured that she must have gotten up earlier or something, so I go to the bathroom, but I don’t recognise my face in the mirror initially, looks too young and I start to panic. Rush to kitchen, shouting her name. But the kitchen is empty too, obviously. She was never real. I mourned that loss for a few days, it really messed me up for a while. Wanting to go back to the dream. But I never saw her again in my dreams.

I wish sites that do have PWAs would stop funneling people towards their app.
Especially Patreon, where patronages started using their app would be 30% more expensive for their users than patronages started through their website because of the Apple (and probably Google) tax. Patreon is aware of this tax but keeps advertising their fucking stupid app! You have a Progressive Web App that’s works perfectly! Stop it! Get some help!

I’m going to boycott them the same way I’ve boycotted Sony ever since one of their CDs bricked my PC with their stupid rootkit.

Meanwhile I sometimes fail those. I have been locked out of applications because I missed a square of a bus, or perhaps because I like to be efficient in my mouse cursor movements. I ducking hate CAPTCHAs.

You can have the most realistic graphics in the world, pushing your AMViditel RTX 5095Ti Plus Platinum Ultra with 64TB VRAM to it’s absolute maximum, but if the gameplay sucks, you won’t have as much fun as you would with a pixel art indie game with lots of fun gameplay.

We still don’t have the capability to play games in full native 4K 144 Hertz.

And we really don’t need that. Gameplay is still more important than game resolution. Most gamers don’t even have hardware that would allow that type of resolution.

They only think of cycling for sport and not cycling to a destination. That’s where the confusion lies.
