A quick scan will show it ofcourse. But it stops bots and stuff just hitting “known” ports. I’ve not had any issues in the months it’s been active compared to the previous month’s I just used the standard port

I do. I run it behind a caddy service so it’s secured with an SSL. The port is running on a high non standard one. I do keep checking access logs but haven’t had a peep apart from the 1 person I shared it with

majestictechie@lemmy.fosshost.comto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•How to rip music from spotify?English133·7 months agoI use Spotdl: https://github.com/spotDL/spotify-downloader
It’s a python based CLI tool. You run the command and link to song/playlist/album and it basically looks on YT for the song, downloads the audio, the artwork and metadata.
It’s what I’ve been using since I cancelled Spotify last year and decided to own my own library again

In all honesty, I’d just keep things simple and go for a SSD.

- no issues with connection because it’s dongle (but does support BT)
- turns itself off with PC (always flakey on Xbox controller)
- hall effect joysticks so stick drift shouldn’t be an issue
- it’s detected as an Xbox controller so it works with most games
