Early access is like a Gachapon. You may get something you like, you might get trash. The trash might become great years later or on the contrast you might hate what you liked beforehand with final-ish changes. It’s a gamble, even triple A companies do this. Games like Fallout 4 or WoW changed the game to prepare for their new games or dlc that’s to be released.
I got the notion of this a long time ago. I mean like Obama expanding the Patriot Act. Like thanks for doing what I voted for you not to do. The opposite of progress is Congress. And there’s a whole lot of Cons.
Yeah that’s part of it. I’ve seen too many smart and successful people making up excuses. I don’t even know why anymore. Look at your wallet or your books. Winning? Winning what? At least I managed to convince some people to look at the bigger picture.
I think that’s a major point.
Critical thinking is demoralized.
I mean I showed court dockets about Tent Peg Rump to people supporting him—still. And it’s been interesting to see the stubbornness to still show support. It’s like you got rearended over the last year and like the dog meme in the fire, this is fine. Some people just don’t want to admit defeat. At least some people are waking up. Also the other thing is, you can’t show your opinion often. It’s like we’ve reached China’s level of censorship without even knowing.

I lucked out on this one; had three cars in high school (a mercedes (two actually would swap with my brother), a volvo, a jaguar). A credit card. A computer in the early 2000s that cost 4k . Even had an apartment bought for me. But I was stubborn and decided to couch surf to figure out things on my own. Yeah I’m kinda dumb. 🙃

I’m not sure honestly it’s been over a decade. Yeah, reddit got weird, bots and people paid to down vote popular opinions. It’s like you get a bunch of down votes and nobody has a reply. A lot of it has to do with text being misunderstood. You can write a text and someone will think you mean something else. Also it’s more fun here, it’s like stepping back in time when people actually wrote to each other on a forum. And yeah, anything that touches change or addresses an actual issue, you’re a radical.
I think there’s a lot of really hurt people and that changes who they are. You wouldn’t believe how many people confided their past trauma to me. There’s a lot of dark people. I studied psychology, read many many books. But still I’m oblivious to a lot of things. It’s like a friend that comes out being gay, oh okay, I mean it crossed my mind, I hope you find someone—sorry I don’t roll that way.
I agree, mines terrible in low light, the new tech has come a long way. I personally like to do it on hard mode. I mean I used to measure the photograph I wanted to take Ansel Adams style. So more math and planning to just take one shot. Like Adams, I’m amateur photographer and I like to do it for fun.

I still use my old Nikon; why? Because I can put anything that resembles a lens on it. Or make my own lenses. I made one with a cardboard tube and pieces of a broken lens. Or used a enlarger lens to take pictures. I guess it depends on what you want to do. And well my eyes still work better than digital screens. I mean I don’t need a light meter to estimate shutter speed. But then again, I’m very much into photography.
They must have a really good electrical grid. I remember ‘brown’ outs because too much electricity was generated in Vermont.
Buy a rice cooker and just throw in what you want to eat. If you’re willing to pay a higher cost, there’s precut stuff at the grocery store or you can get frozen veggie bags as well as seasoning bags. For example I made myself a stew, shaved beef with a potato and a carrot and a can of seasoned beans, and some beer for liquid. Took maybe a few minutes to throw everything in the rice cooker and I just press the slow cook option.
