I hope it works out, this is sorely needed.
I make art that’s totally mine because I did it through AI. https://imgur.com/a/Rhgi0OC

This is great and what I was hoping the Fediverse would turn into.
I was just one person with an idea; an international village adopted it and helped it, making its message go wide.
I want to do this again, but with the Fediverse.
I could start with a 40 minute visual presentation for schools and organizations, demo it, and see where things go. The cool thing is that I’m fully fluent in English, Italian and French so I could do these presentations in 3 languages – wherever people would welcome me.
It’s not going to be easy. But it’s definitely going to be worth it.
Exaxtly that, I just don’t have the bandwidth.
Thanks, I didn’t realize that worked here. But I meant tagging a user as awesome or a troll or whatever. That way, when you kind of remember seeing the name and they seem like they’re trolling, I can tell right away if I’ve had previous interactions with them. RES was awesome for that.
That was years ago. I’m sure I saved it on reddit, but I haven’t been back there since I switched. Sorry about that. It was a real study though, they were trying to figure out all of he social media trolling from Cambridge Analytica and all that. It might have been even earlier.
Yes, that and the tagging of users.
They did a study around the 2020 elections and have found the following to work with trolls:
Respond once with the facts (if you must), and then walk away. I have found Lemmy not needing that most of the time, just downvoting seems to work. But if you’re on the place that shall not be named, this works.
I live in Seattle, in the winter is why I would have to supplement.
Plus comcast and any phone company, specifically AT&T
Corporate landlords specifically.
Single Family Houses – The 5 Biggest Buyers In America
As SFH investors and property managers we may find ourselves bidding on the same property as a major fund. You might get a call from a fund that wants to buy your portfolio. You could end up partnering with a fund as its local operator. You never know.
Phoenix was the first city that had just about all the major private equity firms investing in single family houses. Private equity helped drive prices in Phoenix up by 34% as you can read about in this Bloomberg article here. The next city that attracted just about all the major private equity firms was Atlanta GA. Other popular markets are CA, Chicago and Florida. PE firms are looking for markets that have experienced the biggest bubbles that have resulted in the biggest swings in values.
We call those non-linear markets. The goal is to hold properties as rentals and wait for a housing recovery. These funds are averaging about an 8% return on investment where most major multi-family / apartment funds return about 5 or 6%. Linear markets like Tulsa OK, Louisville KY, Indianapolis IN, Fort Worth TX, Columbus OH, and Kansas City have been some what over looked by the biggest players. However, there are plenty of funds coming into the linear markets with up to $50 million (which is considered a small fund) to spend on houses.
Why wait for others?
Wind Turbine & Solar Panel Combinations: A Guide to Hybrid
Smaller and cheaper units are becoming available as individuals as well. I might try to put something like this up, one at each corner of the home and then have battery storage.
So is this what Vance meant when he said there’s so much land “we’re not using”? I’ll never understand why Americans are so shitty to the Native peoples.
Native American turnout is especially critical in the upcoming election, when tribal sovereignty could be threatened by the conservative blueprint Project 2025, which states that fossil fuel drilling should be facilitated on tribal lands. Political representation that brings needed resources into Native communities is particularly important on tribal lands, where 75% of roads remain unpaved. In part due to Young’s advocacy, Native American voters are credited with flipping the historically red state of Arizona to Democrat during the 2020 election. That year, up to 90% of the roughly 67,000 eligible voters in the Navajo Nation voted for Joe Biden, according to data.
Meh, that’s why you plant an abundance. No value if you can’t steal at least most and probably be able to travel.
Could someone explain what this means to non-techy people?
Within three months of the rollout, Rehberger found that memories could be created and permanently stored through indirect prompt injection, an AI exploit that causes an LLM to follow instructions from untrusted content such as emails, blog posts, or documents. The researcher demonstrated how he could trick ChatGPT into believing a targeted user was 102 years old, lived in the Matrix, and insisted Earth was flat and the LLM would incorporate that information to steer all future conversations. These false memories could be planted by storing files in Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, uploading images, or browsing a site like Bing—all of which could be created by a malicious attacker.
Rehberger privately reported the finding to OpenAI in May. That same month, the company closed the report ticket. A month later, the researcher submitted a new disclosure statement. This time, he included a PoC that caused the ChatGPT app for macOS to send a verbatim copy of all user input and ChatGPT output to a server of his choice. All a target needed to do was instruct the LLM to view a web link that hosted a malicious image. From then on, all input and output to and from ChatGPT was sent to the attacker’s website.
So the government is capable of higher fines. 3 billion is pretty steep.
In related news, the SEC blocked the use of third-party messaging apps and texts on employee work phones in April, aligning with the standards enforced on the financial industry. The agency has issued $3 billion in fines to firms for failing to maintain adequate records of mobile communications.
Thanks for letting me know that Qwant is Bing. It’s hard as a typical person to find any info on search engines, so I appreciate the heads up.
I’ve been noticing that they’ve been getting worse and worse myself. I was recommenced Mojeek and Qwant, but I haven’t made the switch yet. I always forget to use them instead.
There are native, rain, discovery and pollinator gardens that you could do. It all takes time and money, but it’s a choice not a need. They’re all super popular in the PNW.
Thank you for saying this, shout it out. An overwhelming amount of white people voted for trump plus they did some legal election fuckery. I really think the promoting of infighting is for people to not to see above the clouds. Please don’t fall for infighting (not you OP).
