TIL: People who are using wine as an ingredient in a meal, really think they have to use the expensive ones as well. For years we are using just the cheapest bottled wine available. If you think about it, you could also just use balsamic vinegar or something similar for a white wine to add the acidyness/taste. The alcohol does evaporate anyway. But these things are mostly subjective anyway.

Did you try lutris out of flatpak? I don’t know why but this version has less issues. I compared lutris vs bottles and for me the performance of bottles was way worse. (Sadly). Because the bottles ui is much better

Do you know what the issue was? Iam on kubuntu with the flatpak version (important) of lutris and battle.net + sc2 just runs out of the box. With a normal installation of lutris it didn’t.

For me the same, but with kubuntu. Linux is really ready to be used as a desktop.

Just go for it! Did it recently and the overall experience is actually getting impressed multiple times.

These news are just a joke. The police talks like they made the big catch, but AGAIN it was the work of other people. In this case some random underpayed person who found cocaine in the bananas at the supermarket. Looks like you never played on a computer on a TV screen. The experience is plaged by pad connection problems (Bluetooth), windows popups, random no full screen issues, sound suddenly on the wrong channel, microphone not working, mouse cursor in the middle of the screen (often reset to the middle after launching the game, even when you are playing with a pad) and so on. You still need a keyboard and a mouse near your couch and there is always something. For sure iam still not paying the markup for a console, but i get why there is a big market.

While this is true, consoles still manage to have a way more convenient experience. Its the only reason why they exist (today)

Smarttube stopped working some weeks ago for a day. I tried watching YouTube with ads, the experience was so fucking insane to me. Like multiple, non skipable ads before the video starts + more ads during the video. It just was unwatchable. Its just unusable.

Ublock, doesnt block the google login, th cookiebanner and the shitty login question of twitter itself. I looks exactly like that with ublock.

Isn’t that illegal in some way?
