From what little I have read, it seems like broader Europe is working towards that and other things without the US, but some countries have their own right wing issues.

Thanks for sharing. I was never actually a reddit member, but I was a long time viewer. I probably don’t really know what reddit was like. Not as a member. I still use that one forum, but mostly I view here.
I migrated from kbin. My experience on the instance I am using has been different, but I wasn’t a big user before. I actually feel like there are more posts on some major areas now than a year ago summer, but I dont know about wholesale usage.
Given your last update, I am curious is that follows with meeting the “acceptable targets” that @pandapoo@sh.itjust.works mentioned. This seems bad, but it is also complicated.
It has yet to not shock me how many of these employers cannot see the optics of their demand to end remote work. This one is pretty bad, tho.
Folks using any sort of adaptive equipment already have an increased likelihood of repair challenges. This move is not surprising, I suppose, with all sorts of things moving to unnecessary subscriptions or repair materials only available to dealers. However, in the US (ostensibly), anything sold thru Medicare etc can be regulated easier than a farm tractor or access van. Maybe there is hope.
technically possible temps will go down next year.
I sure hope so. But I think it would be bad to plan on luck alone (not that you are advocating for that).
It’s been awhile since I have seen talk about 2°, as if we have given up on that number. Maybe only in the US, where climate change isn’t even really discussed in a meaningful way by our two primary presidential candidates.
Agreed, mainly speculatory. So is this 🙂
I would expect the interpreters to be North Korean military people who are fluent in Russian. They can understand the order and then dictate it in a culturally appropriate manner. But this is Russia and DPRK, so they probably aren’t worried about that. I would also expect that the soldiers, are reporting to a normal unit commander for the same reason.
Like your final question mentions, at the end of the day, we dont really know what role they will fulfill. It could be logistical. It could be meat grinder.
This is an interesting question. It is possible that they train with interpreters in mind.
Whoa John Lennon, that would require respect and sharing.
Zelensky’s body language was immaculate. True country leader. Were lies stated by Trump? Truths? Possibilities? Impossibilities? 😶️ Zelensky plans for the future and desires no necessary enemies.
I don’t use a VPN and they are still highly problematic. I get stuck in a cycle, like with cloudflare.
Maybe to add to this, there may be folks like me who initially joined on things that became problematic or we wanted something “better” and are now on something different, leading to doubles. Not sure if my older accounts (like kbin) would show up but they might.
This is helpful, I haven’t interacted with microblogs since moving to your instance. Thanks!
Maybe it’s because I live in one of the more remote areas of my country, but I never get alerts of any kind. Not much going on here I guess.
I can’t answer your question definitively but I think he wants more “western” backing before going deep with those tools. I also think going “deep” is a great option.
Or a H Jon Benjamin instance
Haha hard to take that seriously 🙂 I’m down with that jazz
Late reply since I’ve been in the field - I no longer have to worry about partition space for kernels, that is nice. Using mobile rn but I will look when I get on my computer.
Doesn’t half (or more?) of the discussion revolve around the fact that Firefox isn’t shipped with any product? We have known for literal decades that most folks will not change what the OS ships with. This was part of the Microsoft monopoly issue, yes? Now we have it with them again, and Google. Apple is a little more complicated I guess.
Firefox works fine, bit of isn’t part of any major package, and not all websites test for it. I don’t know what Mozilla can do to overcome this.
