I have this new AI tool. Free and open source, model and all, and extremely CPU-efficient. Basically you feed it the training data (like some New York Times articles, but it can be any text or binary), and it can produce a 1:1 output when prompted. I call it “copi”; can I get my five trillion tax dollars now?

Half-Life 3 was in development between 2013 and 2014, but dropped because Source 2 wasn’t production-ready, according to Geoff Keighley’s The Final Hours Of Half-Life: Alyx. It sounds like it never got further than an early gameplay concept, but saying that it was never even started is incorrect.
Based on that detailed description, the answer is: due to facts and circumstances. Change some of the variables and you might see different results.
But it is a reasonable possibility. More plausible than most predictions. Valve employees have stated that Episode 3 was in some stage of development when it was cancelled, and that several unsuccessful attempts had been made to continue the series. Laidlaw was also still employed at Valve during that period. There’s a very good chance that related material is in the leaked data, even if it isn’t the next mainline game.

Pablo has been cooking for the last couple of years. Most of the bad warframes received considerable buffs or reworks, and most of them will serve you well until the late-game missions (with the exception of Loki, Limbo, and Nekros; they’re pretty much useless now). Arcanes are even more busted than before. There are legitimate builds that don’t equip Energize. Melee Influence is the reigning king of melee arcanes. You can slap a basic electric status build on literally any melee weapon and have something that can take you to level cap.
Also, Stalker had a girlfriend and they’ve fucked.
The Switch port is handled by Panic Button, the same studio that developed the Doom 2016 port. It’s impressive work considering the hardware limitations, but the introduction of cross-platform play made the gap between it and other platforms impossible to ignore.
Warframe’s multiplayer sessions are hosted by the players, and you can feel when the game is hosted on a Switch. The ping is consistent around 300 ms (which is not good, but about average for the EU region), but every action will have a second of latency and the enemies will constantly rubber-band around.
CUPS didn’t work for me as I can’t see an upload option on the web UI.
And you won’t. For the purpose of printing, CUPS is a print server, not a web front-end. It facilitates communication between client devices and downstream printers through a unified open protocol that isn’t manufacturer-dependent.
Printing is implemented through IPP, which is an HTTP-based protocol. You have to add the URL of the printer as it appears on the web UI (e.g. https://print.mydomain.net/printers/PRINTER_NAME) as a printer in the client device’s printer manager. It’s plug-and-play on Linux and Mac, and needs a driver (even if it’s the generic PostScript driver) on Windows.
I’ll never understand why the US refuses to modernize the horrid NEMA 5 connectors. A recessed receptacle, insulators around the base of the live and neutral blades, spring-loaded detention mechanism to keep the connector from slipping out… in its current state, it’s only two steps removed from sticking the bare wires into the socket.
When USB-C-compliant devices are connected, they have to negotiate which side is upstream and which is downstream. So yes, they’re hermaphroditic, just like snails.
In contrast, the non-compliant USB A-to-A cable that Ugreen uses with its own devices is closer to hyenas. If you know, you know… and don’t you wish you didn’t.

Sometimes not even money. Microslop was left holding the bag when they jacked up the price of Gamepass and suddenly it became unaffordable for a lot of customers, and spent billions on a lemon. Sony is actively alienating their supporters, rejecting their largest market, and going all-in on a game that can’t even reach five thousand daily concurrent players on Steam because they’ve also already spent billions on a lemon. Bad calls and sunk costs all around.

I know there’s a post-hoc artistique justification where Alan is a hack writer and everything in the dark place is only as good as his imagination… but a poorly made game is still a poorly made game, and trying to shove half of a Max Payne action shooter into an Alan Wake game is just asking for disappointment (just ask Amnesia fans about pigs).
But they okayed Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.
On the other hand, Sky TV somehow managed to successfully sue Microsoft to force them to rename SkyDrive.
