Hi! I’m a developer for the Mlem iOS client. Join us on !mlemapp@lemmy.ml!

Both of these issues should be fixed now. Please let us know if you’re still seeing issues

Thanks, this will be fixed in the next version :)

Thanks, we’ll look into these. What sort of issues are you seeing with federated content?

“New Comments” is equivalent to the “Active” sort on the official PieFed frontend.
On Lemmy, “Active” uses a more complicated algorithm that takes multiple factors into account, similar to “Hot”. We chose to keep the sort names consistent between Lemmy and PieFed accounts within Mlem. This comes at the cost of being inconsistent with the PieFed frontend.
I hope that makes sense :)

Ah yes I’ve seen that a couple of times. I remember trying to solve it, but couldn’t work it out. Will have another go. Thank you for raising an issue :)

Thanks, we weren’t aware of that issue. If it’s been fixed accidentally, that’s great. In what way was the edit screen broken?

Thanks, this will be fixed in the next version 👍
The comment bar colors change along with the theme, which you can set under Settings -> Theme. We don’t currently support changing the comment bar colors independently of the theme, and didn’t in the past. Some other clients (Arctic, Voyager, Apollo) have this feature. We’ve got an issue open for it here: https://github.com/mlemgroup/mlem/issues/139

Thanks for the bug report, I’ll look into this.
Good point, we’ll make the video controls show on tap in the next TestFlight 👍
One other thing I miss from Apollo days is ’drag to scrub’.
In Mlem, you can drag your finger left/right on a video to scrub, and move your finger up/down to change scrubbing speed. I didn’t use Apollo, so am not familiar with whether they did it differently. If you’d prefer a different behavior let me know.

This is a good idea, we’ll add an option for this in the next TestFlight version :)

Glad you like it! Welcome to Lemmy ❤️
It looks doable, I’ve made an issue for it 👍
You can do this manually by long-pressing on the “crossposts…” button. There’s no way to do this automatically at the moment.
No worries, thanks for your help :)

We’ve added an option to disable the controls completely in the latest TestFlight :)
Hey again :) This should be fixed in the latest TestFlight version. If you still have any accounts in limbo, could you test it please? It should ask you to login again when you open the account for the first time.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll add an option to disable the controls completely in the next TestFlight 👍

Today’s TestFlight update includes some settings for the image viewer :)
Settings -> Media & Links -> Image Viewer
You might have set comments to “compact”mode at the top of comments settings. It needs to be in “large” mode for the interaction bar to appear. Apologies, we could have made this more clear.
