I do think we’re in a better situation here than, say, the USA where both parties are essentially the same genocidal freaks except one will put up a pride flag occasionally (but still allow your rights to be taken away). So I am still erring on the side of doing damage control with the Greens and trying to get them to do something locally which will actually help people (maybe working with food banks, tenant’s unions, etc). But I don’t trust them and I’m doing much better things, too.

But in this case, I think the alternative (domesticated pet animals becoming pregnant and having their babies kidnapped to be sold/given away/potentially euthanised if nobody adopts them) is even worse.
