Absolutely love the report. But this headline is slightly misleading:

Shutdown of Lemmy and opportunity for PieFed

Should have read “Shutdown of lemm.ee” instead.

Anyways, I’m happy that PieFed gains some traction and publicity.

Not a community, but new people on Mastodon use the hashtag #newhere to introduce themselves or ask newbie questions. I don’t know if that could be integrated into a Piefed/Lemmy community or if it would create too much noise.
